 NEW firmware for the Triton 200, 300, 400 & 500 is available NOW!
You will need to update the firmware via Vantage Point. To start Vantage Point, hit the connect tab, then hit the update button then select Update all. This will update Vantage Point (for those who don't have the latest version) as well as the firmware in the GPS.

Take Advantage of the following Triton enhancements:
- Improved 'trails' functionality now can further enhance your hiking experiences.
- Full NMEA means that users can now perform 'live tracking' by simply connecting Triton to their PC and running a variety of PC based applications.
- Special "character language' support on map display (EU users only) allow all Finnish chacters, for example, to be displayed on the map screen.
- Improved "points of interest" (POI) feature allows Triton users to search the closest bicycle shop (POI) or the nearest National Park (land use area).
- Enhanced search performance according to cursor position (panning on map screen) means that your "starting search point" (latitude/longitude) for a nearest to search is your cursor location.
- Upgraded UI and graphics.
- Improved "freeze' performance. If your triton receiver "freezes up", reduce occurrences with the latest software update.
- Extended battery life in compass-equipped units (Triton 500 and 2000)
- Additional national Geographic map-display improvements.
