Service and Warranty

Next Destination product warranty (Magellan Products)
Next Destination Pty Ltd warrants their GPS receiver and accessories to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product. In the event of a defect, Next Destination will, at its option, repair or replace the product with no charge to the purchaser for parts or labour. The repaired or replaced product will be warranted for (90) days from the date of return shipment, or for the balance of the original warranty, whichever is longer.

If a receiver becomes faulty within 30 days of purchase from an authorised Next Destination dealer in Australia, you may return your receiver to that store and request an across the counter replacement. The store will contact this department and request a 'Product Exchange Authorisation'. This will allow the store to replace your receiver from their stock.

If your point of purchase is remote from your location, we request you return your receiver, together with a copy of original purchase receipt, your name, address and contact phone number, to the address indicated on the warranty card. Please return all items postage paid.

In the event you purchased your receiver overseas (ie not within the Australia) we will honour the Magellan warranty. Original purchase receipt is still required for overseas purchases.

GPS Service and Repair

Next Desination Pty Ltd has the in-house facilities to service and repair all Magellan, Ashtech and GEONAV GPS receivers. We are the only authorised service centre for Magellan in Australia, and one of a limited number of centres outside of America.

Our Service Manager (Kevan James) is factory trained at both Magellan Division, San Dimas, California and Ashtech Division, Santa Clara, California U.S.A. He was also trained in Italy for the repair of the Geonav Chartplotters.

We fully support land, marine, and recreational GPS.
